Client-P2P programs are used to work with peer-to-peer (P2P) networks and are not malicious programs. Detection for Client-P2P programs was added to Kaspersky Lab products after insistent requests from users, as some of this type of program have caused leakage of confidential data.
If a user has installed such a program on his/her computer, or if it was installed by a system administrator, then it does not pose any threat.
